Please enjoy hell yes!
Jan. 28th, 2005 10:11 amHurrah for Beck's new song, 'Hell Yes', a return to his robo-funkin' roots! (I particularly like the Japanese female voice that says 'Please enjoy!' in the chorus.) And hurrah for Mumbleboy's Flash video for it, which looks nice and cheap and inventive, like Beck used to be!

Here's the video:

You can still watch Mumbleboy's video for my 2001 song 'Tape Recorder Man' on his site:
Tape Recorder Man (Flash animation)
Actually, if there are any Flash geniuses out there who want to make an animation for a track off my new album for their showreel, speak now!

Date: 2005-01-29 12:28 am (UTC)I just don't have the time, but I'd really really really like to do something. I haven't heard the album yet and I don't think I can put something together before some months. I always had the idea to make something out of a momus' song, though I'm more appealed by the older ones.
anyways, my university once gave me the opportunity to make motion graphics on music. three pieces on 'bucephalus bouncing ball' by aphex twin (ok, ok... I chose the song), and here's the results (there were some limitations: each of the three videos must feature a main element: geomatry, typography and organic shapes - guess what was my organic shape):

So, with an enormous amount of time and patience and waiting, I would be more than happy to work on a song (maybe not strictly in flash - I became a motion blur junkie).
