dear wise momus, how does one go about becoming a journalist when trained in something llse entirely? it's a rather broad and silly question but still ???
If there's a subject or an event you know and care about, write about it and submit it to the magazines and newspapers you read and like. There's a chance they'll run it, especially if you can do it in their house style.
