The funny thing is, I really don't know how that pretty Japanese schoolgirl got there. As you can see from the RealPlayer window, what I ordered from the stacks was actually Rule Number 1 (http://www.ubu.com/sound/beckett/beckett01.ram), a Samuel Beckett text about death, absurdity and futility. The life force is not an acceptable substitute. I want to see the head librarian, please!

I actually got that same clip while trying to find previews of the Beckett on Film series online. at first I was shocked and appalled, but then I realized that, yes, I do actually prefer attractive naked females to the bleak and unforgiving absurdity of the abyss.
