Did you ever wonder how the Mallorcans make that delicious dish, "destroyed eggs"? How a "cybernetic intellectual renaissance man" feels as he takes the stage? Or how Marc Bolan really died?

Come on a blindfold guided tour of the place Mallorcans just call la cuidad, the city, and learn the answers to all of these questions and more! Yes, it's the Palma Podcast (mono mp3 file, 42mins 33secs, 19.5 MB)!

Ok, about this podcast: It was so very, very, very cool hearing all that Spanish intermingled with the aural scenery in the background, particularly since my ethnicity would dictate that I would have quite a bit of Spanish ancestry in me, and because it was drilled into my head by Mom and Dad that I Must Learn Spanish or Else. Anyway. Also, the "cholesterol omelette" featuring those "destroyed eggs" sounds like something you'd find as an option for a breakfast taco filling at a Tex-Mex Mexican restaurant. I imagine the eggs are "destroyed" via scrambling, then dropped into a pan with fried diced potato and some kind of soft, minced-style chorizo, and then the garlic is added to it all. Almost the same as papas con chorizo y huevos, which I like to make for my Saturday breakfast/lunch. Anyway. Another great podcast, and it's too bad they misspelled your name.
