There should be a martial art devoted to fending off one's younger relations during the holidays. Diagrams might be amusing (Of course, by age twelve most of my neices and nephews were larger than I am).
A tip from someone with fifteen nieces and nephews: make them clip their nails. Little buggers will cut you to ribbons.
Pepper spray is effective, as well. Tastes great with holiday bird, too.
