Incredibly enough, I had a dream about Momus the night before this entry was posted--I haven't been here or anywhere much on the web in months, but peeked here today and saw what a coincidence had occurred.
Anyway, it's been a couple days now, but I do remember I was a tattoo artist with my own tattoo parlor (truth told, I hate tattoos) and was about to give Momus an elaborate tattoo on his penis, but at the last second he recoiled and I woke up. Add this one to the several dreams I've had about Momus over the years. Why, when I rarely dream about my dearly departed loved ones?
Well, to start with, I found Mummy in the wardrobe with some infrantrymen, whilst Daddy lay dead on the ironing board...
Puzzlingly, this dream was only the latest in an occasional series, some of which I've recounted to this select audience over the years. I still can't figure out why I dream of Momus but so rarely of people I actually know or knew. My dreams are mostly filled with inept stand-ins and extras eager to attract the attention of the director.
Sigh--visiting here today has made me nostalgic, but I'm afraid if I hang out with Momus too long--in my dreams or on the web, I'll never finish my book. Double sigh.
Momus is a very dream-able character, its been a recurring topic in this blog that he loves to come back to and just look at the length of this thread...I guess its the eyepatch, and those dresses
