Does that mean you didn't find a place to stay?

I was treating Shimokitazawa a bit like my private apartment, bathing in the sento then singing at Club Que as if it were my private shower (shared with 150 strangers). But I ended up in the guest bedroom of Zoren Gold, the German photographer who's shot recent album sleeves by Ua and Kahimi Karie. What a nice guy! He has a house in Naka-Meguro, up on top of the hill. It's gorgeous here, I'm sitting on the terrace in the sunshine and it feels like the countryside. Cool autumn sunshine, crows cawing, semi whirring, a helicopter somewhere in the distance. Off to Geisai soon...

I haven't been reading your journal for very long, but looking over recent entries, my own life seems rather quaint in comparison.

Thanks for sharing!

Now we know what you would look like if you were doing one of those blue-screened "falling-from-a-building-in-a-movie" scenes. Maybe a less content facial expression...

Nice kimono. Didn't your feet get filthy in those go-aheads?

Filth is virtually unknown anywhere in Japan.

I would offer to introduce you to my local portion of south Osaka, but I'm on the cusp of leaving for two weeks. "Filth" and "unknown" can't be used in the same sentence in some of the portions of senshuu... :-)
