Like chapbooks for art! Great idea. They seem a bit like very thin versions of Taschen's little square books on famous artists.

My LiveJournal default picture is actually reversed, just because PhotoBooth reverses photos because it's trying to be like a mirror. Then when you're processing them, because the image looks so familiar (from looking in the mirror), you forget to flip them over. Or you just say "That's me!" and leave it.

That's funny, Tom Waits was playing Glasgow the same week I did and the tickets were £60 or something. Mine were £10. So I'm the cut-price Waits.

On a tangent: what's your take on Miroslav Tichý? The Pompidou is showing a retrospective of his work (http://www.guardian.co.uk/artanddesign/2008/aug/02/art.photography). I was thinking that he's one artist for whom the label "tender pervert" is particularly apt.

They look like how I imagined the photos Barry George took of women (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7532972.stm) would look. But I suppose if one were writing a catalogue essay, one would have to fill it with stuff about the "hermetic hermeneutics of desire" and so on.

No need to apologise: I'm not precious about the credit; in fact, I'm tempted to see if Duglas will swap the credit for the videos for the credits for Serious Drugs.
