Virtual kiosk

Magazo is a site showing the front covers of a bunch of Japanese magazines, as well as listing the topics covered in the latest issues. (You can translate the pages with BabelFish.)

Here are some titles I like to keep an eye on:

Studio Voice
. My favourite! This month's theme: 'Dogville' by Lars Von Trier.

Relax
. The calligraphy is by Yann Tomita. I actually prefer Relax for Girls!

BT
, Japan's leading contemporary art mag. Nice to see Makoto Aida on the cover!

Ryuko Tsushin
, fashion. Designed by Shoichi Kajino, who released the Milky album in Japan.

Paper Sky
, travel. Features on 'Paris book trip', Iran, Vietnam, Finland and Expo 70, Osaka.

Exposure
, a free mag about London and Tokyo.

This is the first entry in Click Opera, the record of the clicks Momus is making as he operates his iBook on a daily basis.

Can I assume this will be a delightful journey, exploring everything this side of Erasure?

I wish that I was multi-lingual. Reading about the magazines has made me want to read them. I was wondering when Momus would invade LiveJournal! I'm a very young admirer.
