Jesus in Furs

The first copies of Summerisle have arrived. Official release date is April 16th. Meanwhile, I'm hard at work in my studio making tentative new tracks. Here -- a Click Opera exclusive -- is a song I just finished today:

Jesus in Furs

Sorry, this track is no longer available. Please buy the CD when it comes out!

You can probably guess what it's about. Yes, that vile Mr Gibson and his sinister 'passion'. I thought I should get it out while it's still topical.

Sorry couldn't load your song, are you sure your link is working? Love the title by the way!

I jut deleted the file and loaded a louder version, it was too quiet. Should work now.

Heard the song, very topical, but overall a great little song Mr. Momus! I can't wait to hear the album! Is this song in line with what's coming next?
Don't tell me!

Does it go "[it] sacrifices entertainment" or "sacrifice is entertainment"? Either way, I love the depth of the sound.

I've been looking forward to this new release since listening to the rounded, organic sample track you'd posted some time ago. For many of my fellow creatures who are also seasonal in their listening, yours and Ms Laplantine's sunny, intricate offering could not be arriving at a better time. Upon my purchase, I shall ease back with a glass of green chartreuse (that nectar of summer storms) and open the windows so that the spring peeps in the nearby vernal pools might join in with your songs.

My copy of Little Red Songbook shall be grateful for the respite,
W

(I'm still waiting for someone to film a Franklin/Voltaire "buddy" romp. Gods--bah.)

I haven't eve heard it yet, but want to thank Momus in advance for posting this song.

Maybe you'll get a chance soon to see this week's "South Park," which was some of the best and funniest commentary on that devil and would-be martyr Gibson yet.

well that's pretty wonderful and uncomfortable. i love the element of what sounds like plucked violin. thanks for posting it!

I love the silly Velvet Underground guitars. I love it all. You've never done wrong by me.

Mic asks about your studio...

Momus...what does your home studio look like? I run stuff from a homestudio as well and was just wondering what you're working on...
