...arrived this morning. It's slightly spooky to see that this 24" telescreen now gives the world a window on me, too. Only when I want you to see me, though, right? Right?

hi nick!
Im nico from argentina. I'm visiting berlin right now and I wanted to give you a record from my band lile (www.lile.com.ar). Actually, I'm looking for any info related to this city (I'm living in a friend's house who's an artist but doesn't know too mutch about anything related to music or sound at all).
So I think I will go to your concert on friday and give you a cd then right?
Maybe we could talk a little bit.
You should go to buenos aires some day, we like your music down there, we really do.
So I think I'll see you then
thanks anyway

nico

Opening a new mac is almost a ritualistic experience and it is hard to throw away the packaging !

It seems that using the Photobooth program has flipped your image so that your eyepatch is on the right, or is that your pervert doppleganger !

For some reason the Photo Booth program does give you a mirror image rather than a natural image. You have to select "Auto Flip Images" to get them the right way round. I hadn't discovered that when I took those first few pictures...

This encourages a more natural, face in the mirror experience, which seems fitting for a computer simulation of carnival mirrors.

someone above asked "where's the hard drive?" unless they were just kidding,
the hard drive is actually in the back of the screen. amazing, eh?

enjoy the new mac vibrations.

Also my next machine, just waiting for them to bundle 10.5 Leopard with it and will mark the retirement of my first Mac the 800mhz Titanium Powerbook, 4+ years old still works great.

They're beautiful machines, I use a 17 inch G5 one where I work at the moment and the speedy Dell has been reduced to then Internet Explorer test machine. The iMac was just getting filthy in a corner till I joined, poor thing.

I can't do much about me or my illusionary boobs, [livejournal.com profile] obelia, but I do apologize for the chair. It is gross. I bought it and the sofa off the previous tenant for very little money, and plan to replace them when I can afford to. Here's how I'm posing today, with a big hairy leg propping up my chinny chin chin:
