That was taken in very low light, and came out nicely because the camera was balancing on the door handle. But generally the low light performance is very poor because of the slow lens. It's very hard to get results which aren't blurred or shaky. And the camera's design – more like a cellphone than a camera, all swivelable and Star Trekky – makes it really hard to balance for timer shots when you're using some random post as a makeshift tripod and want to run round and get in the picture yourself. The thing's likely to fall down in the slightest puff of breeze... Apart from that, though, great.
Well, it's good. But infuriatingly there's no sound recording setting. You can't just record sound on its own. You have to record a video and strip the sound out of it with software.
I think you look rather handsome in the photos, but if I had to play pick a celebrity, as it seems so many have done, I would say the U.S.'s Chris Elliot.
since i have my new cam ( a big nikon d70) my pictures changed a bit, i was affraid to be too crispy, but it gives good result as weel i'm happy that my photos were not all about my fuji (same as yours and the leica i sold you...) is your mail still the german one? florian
This will probably sound sickening, but I don't think I've ever had a hangover. I always stop after two drinks, because they stop making me feel better and start making me feel worse at that point.
I don't know who that Chris Elliot feller is, but from a Google image search I'd say he looks a lot more like AmPatch artist Rroland (http://www.imomus.com/rrolandpromosmall.jpeg) than me:
its brilliant because rroland actually looks sort of like bob elliot, his father. I think chris elliot is funny, but not everyone does. He was in the movie "cabin boy".
Not to worry - I managed to get in touch with him by email: apparently, "Buried Dreams" is going to come out as a (free?) download at (http://thestate51conspiracy.com)... Any idea what the Toop/Eastley "Doll Creature" album is like? I think I'll get that too...
