Japanese Faulkner? Please, that seems more an epithet than an appraisal when it's applied to Nakagami. Faulkner hardly "owns" nostalgia, anyway. As said, it's a common disease of the aged.
A class to which I belong, by the way; I've just returned to Queens NY after forty years away, perhaps I am not so "cool a cat" as you...I certainly do not expect fashion to save the day; after all, when the oil runs out, there'll be no more polyester.
