According to an old dream journal I have, the earliest mention of a Momus-related dream was in May 1999, when I dreamed of standing at the side of a street in the town where I grew up when Aspen (a girl I knew from high school) drove by and said, "Momus is my squeeze." (The rest of the dream consisted of watching a music show on TV with a poetry reading by Gary Snyder, where he was introduced as a character from "Jack Kerouac's book The Little Dharma Bums," and a Thai singer who reminded me of Usher and played an electronic keyboard housed in the body of a regular piano, playing with "a more aquatic sound.")
And if you hadn't mentioned it now, I would have completely forgotten that last week I had a dream (maybe half-forgotten now) that I was riding a bus past the cemetery between Addy and Bluecreek near where my grandparents' house was. The driver handed me a (Swedish?) newspaper that featured an article written by you, and all I can remember now is that you used a supposed anagram of "Hillary Rodham Clinton" in your writing: Succi Rocccaloop RRR
Other than that, I remember a vivid dream with music derived from "The End of History," and another dream (dreamt while I was in Shanghai) of discovering a little room in a house where you were playing an apparently different song called "At the End of Infinity"
