Tonight I play the BB Mix Festival in Paris.

Well, I say Paris, but the festival is happening in Boulogne-Billancourt, which is a suburb out to the west of the city. Nearest metro is Marcel Sembat, and I'm onstage approximately 8.30pm, for about 45 minutes.

Thank you Nick for your ever entertaining ways, this time as part of the Jacques Brel tribute show. If only Southbank Meltdown's could be as precise & sweet as the Carousel show.

This most sincere sextet of singers, driven by a 20 piece orchestra, made each and every motorway mile, so worthwile.

For anyone who would like to know the running order & set list, I am pleased to raise the baton:

Momus:
Ne Me Quitte Pas
La Ville S'Endomait
Les Bourgeois

Arthur H:
Sur La Place
Je Suis Un Soir D'Ete
Madeleine

Diamanda Galas:
La Chanson Des Vieux Amants
Fernand
Amsterdam

Camille O'Sullivan:
Marieke
Les Vieux
Au Suivant

Arno:
Le Bon Dieu
Bruxelles
Voir Un Ami Pleurer

Marc Almond:
The Devil Ok
I'm Coming
La Valse A Mille Temps

Finale of Marc Almond / Momus / Camille O'Sullivan:
La Chanson Jacky

The detail probably arrived very late to the preperation, but was duly noted, understood & enjoyed. Right down to the orchestra signing Momus' Brel brace off, in true Paris Olympia 1961 style, with a busrt of Quand On N'a Que L'amour.

Bravo indeed, jeu de scène unique et choix de ta setlist exceptionnel, j'étais aux anges (avec un côté voyeur avoué sans rougir aucunement). A très bientôt j'espère, tu reviens quand ?

Enjoyed your performance, a veritable kaleidoscope - Ashes to Ashes will never sound the same again. Well done! This was my first time to see you and hope to catch your show again.

And what great 45 minutes those were. Loved the set- list, the performance and the beefed-up playback music. Probably the best Momus performance i have seen (and i am on my fifth right now).
Keep going!

Ah, you were there, Robert? Damn! I came out front at the end briefly, and spoke to three old ladies who so overwhelmed me with their affection that I ran away and hid.

Yes, and I can tell you, it wasn't easy leaving the Gents toilets at the intermission whilst wearing a Momus T-shirt.

So many of the plucky penis pointing porcelain aiming audience were ramaging for info on Momus. I really couldn't concentrate, and was the last to leave the urinal.

After the rest had gone I needed a rest from the rest room.

I was sitting right at the front, a few seats away from someone who I believed to be a very excitable Klaus.

The best ever in more than 2 decades!
