Chinese Whispers from Luxembourg
Apr. 25th, 2008 12:39 pm
I've just arrived in Luxembourg, where I'm participating in MUDAM's Call and Response event, organised by artist Candice Breitz. It's a four day schedule of talks about appropriation / fandom / copyright / folk culture / Chinese Whispers, with artists' performances (including, at 6pm on Monday, my set of misremembered cover versions, delivered like a papal address from a balcony in the atrium).
Later today, Iain Forsythe and Jane Pollard kick things off with their remake of a Vito Acconci piece, "Relearning with Acconci".

When will the lists be available? Could even do a venn diagram if some were both...
Looks like a great programme!
