Since we're in Tati mode to celebrate the arrival of the Oskar Originals, check out my friend Erik Seidenglanz's new film, okSLA Tennis Champion. Erik plays ballboy to a bunch of white machines trying to play ping pong without human intervention. It's co-directed by Sean Talley, one of Erik's partners in the Seahorse Liberation Army.



Reviews of Summerisle are now coming in. Twisterella has run a really nice article about the record and interviewed [Bad username or unknown identity: Anne Laplantine] about it. And composer Roddy Shrock writes a fiercely generous account of the album on his blog; a 'gush' with which I feel unashamed to agree wholeheartedly, since it's really Anne's record.

My mother just arrived in Berlin, I'd better get busy tidying the flat!
